As someone who started using ADSM without any ADSM specific training, but a
great deal of technical knowledge, one of the first things I discovered is
that IBM/ADSM's technical writers are lousy and that is because ADSM is not
intuitive. 90% of the posts on this list are documented somewhere in the "
Technical manuals" but they are lacking in some details and I find that we
all do things just a bit different than IBM's Ideal world of ADSM. They are
trying to reach the largest common denominator like any company that writes
software.
I understand both points of view but there is no need to be insensitive. One
of the newbies may save your butt in the future. I like their questions.
It's kinda like a pop quiz and like the rest of my brothers and sisters in
the ADSM world a little review once in a while is a good thing.
Thats my opinion, we welcome yours!
