OK, couple of questions:

Dead server, ok db and log volumes.  Roll forward recovery

dsmserv restore db todate=date totime=time

Will this restore the db and roll it forward to the specified time?

When do I have to do the dsmserv format command?  I would think I need to
use this if I do not have the db and log volumes.  My understanding is in
order to use this, the original log volumes must be deleted as this command
actually creates and formats (sort of like dsmfmt) the volumes.

Raging debate going here folks.  Input is needed.  Needless to say, I think
I'm right, but need your confirmation.
