As an ADSM admin I was lucky to hear my storage admin will give me a couple
of 3390-6 drives (emc, in fact) so I have larger drives to allocate larger
dasd volumes for database and disk pool. But - I failed to allocate more
than 65k tracks. This is no real improvement (compared to 56k tracks in
3390-3).

Does anyone know if the size of the used esds vsam is limited by 65k tracks
(as far as I know ADSM don't like secondary allocation)??
Any idea how to have larger disk volumes to save larger files to disk??
