Johan,

there is a tool called ntutil available for NT. It is part of the Magstar
Device Drivers for NT available at the ADSM ftp server and its mirrors.
With ntutil you can control some operations on a 3570. But why do you want
to control cleaning from outside - the MP does it itself if you insert the
cleaning cartridge in the internal slot reserved for that purpose (refer to
the operation manual for that). My problem ist to get to know when the 100
cleaning cycles are done.

Does anyone know if there is a utility available to control a IBM MagStart
3570
?

I know that such a tool is available from within AIX, but is it from NT or
DOS ?

Please help.....we would like to control our MagStar remotely. We would
