Malkit,
Check the st.conf file in /kernel/drv. Make sure you comment out any
stanzas that might assign the ST driver to the 3590s.
For those asking about Solaris on ADSM. We have two production servers
(2.1.5.15) hopefully soon to be upgraded to 3.1.2. And if I can swing the
financing, will have it running on the E10K data warehouse backing up
2.3TB. I am building a 250 in my lab right now and installing the eval
version.
As far as I can tell, and from my experience, this is a stable and good
platform for ADSM. HP still has crashing problems of an undetermined
nature when using 3590s. As soon as that is cleared up, HP will be a
stable platform also.
Bottom line, it works well.

Subject: ADSM on Solaris and ATL library - HELP !
Hello !
I write you all again , since we still can't configure the ATL library
to ADSM on Soalris. As some of you recommend I try also to use COMPAQ IV
tapes with format=dlt35c.
We were able to write to all kind of tapes with the 'tar' command.
We currently work with ADSM V3.1.2, with the most uptodate drivers.
We try the 'label libv' as well as the 'dsmlabel.
