Hi.
Env:
AIX 4.3.1.0
ADSM 3.1.1.5
3494 with 3590 drives.
We have just upgraded the Library Manager microcode to the 'newes level'. I
am not aware of which version/release.
At the same time we upgraded the atldd driver code to 3.2.1.0.
As we startet the adsm server again we got this msgs for 6 different tapes:
ANR8455E Volume 026050 could not be located during audit
of library LIBMGR1. Volume has been removed from the
library inventory.
A checkin libv for the tape fails.
With the mtlib command I can see the volume. But the device category is
diffenrent than other tapes.
Tapes with data has the device category of 012E and scratch tapes has 012C.
(Tape that are not checked in has FF00)
The failing tapes has A6A0
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qE -V026050
Expanded Volume Data:
volume status............00
volume attribute.........10
volser...................026050
device category..........A6A0
Can anybody explain what the device category of A6A0 means?
Kaj
