Rewrite your restore statement as follows:

dsmc restore -follow=yes -subdir=yes "/lib/*" /mnt/lib/ -tapeprompt=no

I am assuming you want the "-follow=yes" for symbolic links. Just be
sure everything is in place for the symbolic links to matchup.

Have fun

Subject: Restoring /lib directory tree on Solaris V2.6

When restoring this directory using:

dsmc restore -follow=yes -subdir=yes /lib /mnt/lib

The goal is to restore this directory to another filespace as opposed to
the one where it originally resided. The overall goal is to build a new
bootable disk.

Input is appreciated. Especially if you've got a procedure!

Thanks,

PS Does it seem that I'm working on too many things at a time? Actually,
I'm ghost writing for my peers stuck at customer sites doing this work!
