I forgot the last steps:
After the labeling completes:
checkin libvol libname search=yes checklabel=barcode status=scratch
Hopefully this will fix it up for you. I would think the problem is the
library lost its mind during the tape eating incident. You could also have
a barcode reader problem, I would suppose. Perhaps a little window cleaner
on the eye...
