You may want to check the level of your Backup Client....the ADSM OS/2
Client at PTF3 (3.1.0.3) corrected a problem with accessing/backup of HPFS
files...the Apar I am referring to is IC19752...hope this helps...

        I posted this question about 2 weeks ago but received no reply.
Could

        We are running ADSM v. 3 on an OS/2 machine. The problem is we get
error
        messages with "acess denied" on the all that is under the DCDB
folder. Is
        there any one with tips on how to get ADSM to take backup of the
DCDB
        folder?
