The RC 123 means "invalid file name". Perhaps the path
for a particular file is greater than 255 characters?
Which version of the client are you running? I'm pretty
certain that the latest version, 3.1.0.5, will put out
an error message for the problem file, then continue with
the backup.

Hi,
I have a mysterious problem. I can't do a backup or archive of c:\winnt,
even as administrator. When trying to display the directory in the GUI I
get the following error messages in dsmerror.log:
17.09.1998 11:05:27 AltStreamSize(): CreateFile: Win32 RC=32
17.09.1998 11:05:27 AltStreamSize(): CreateFile: Win32 RC=32

17.09.1998 11:05:27 AltStreamSize(): CreateFile: Win32 RC=32
17.09.1998 11:05:27 AltStreamSize(): CreateFile: Win32 RC=32
17.09.1998 11:05:35 TransWin32RC(): Win32 RC 123 from fioScanDirEntry():
getFileSecurityInfo
17.09.1998 11:05:40 TransWin32RC(): Win32 RC 123 from fioScanDirEntry():
getFileSecurityInfo
The reason may be that the \winnt directory is exported under the name
Remote-Admin for some reason unknown to me.
Could somebody help me?
Best regards
Gerhard
