Help needed : AUX file ?
1998-08-27 08:32:27
Hi ADSMers,
I hope you never face this problem....
I have an NT server 4.0 ( SP3), running ADSM client 3.1.0.3. I am aware of
the newer version, but the problem seems not to be related to it.
I do not know why, but a user was able to create a file called "AUX.DOC".
The basic problem here is that "AUX" is treated as a special file ( a DOS
device). When dsmc tries to run incr, it got stuck on the "AUX" entry.
If anybody knows a way of deleting this AUX.DOC file, ( or even ADSM not to
stop on it), please send an e-mail message directly to my address.
Thanks in advance
