Did you format the tapes first ?

I have the same problem with my MagStar 3570 which uses the same tapeunit
drives.

If you format the tapes, you can try to use the LABEL LIBV command within ADSM
version 3.
It won't work by me, i find out that i have to use the DSMLABEL.EXE utility.

Does someone have the same problem ????

Subject: checking in new tapes on 3575


Hi all,

I have a Data General Aviion with a Clariion 3000 - 30 disk raid array
connected to an IBM 3575 - L12, which we just upgraded to an L18 on Friday.

The problem is when I try to check the new tapes in I get the error I have
added below.  The command that I am typing is:  checkin libv warf stat=scr
search=yes

If anyone has any thoughts on this matter I would greatly appreciate the
input.
