Checking in tapes in the 3575 is slightly different than checking in a tape on
a 3494 library.  If you are at v3 you don't have to do the dsmlabel command,
you can label your tape and check it in at the same time by running the label
libvol command.  I have notice, once you run this command, query your activity
log for a reply # for the checkin command (make sure you have the tape you want
to checkin in the I/O slot) key in q request and it will ask you to enter a
reply # (i.e reply 001) your tape should then checkin.

ADSM doesn't have to know anything about the barcode - only the robot
cares about that.  What ADSM needs is for the label to exist on the
media itself, which is not the case now.  Run dsmlabel.
