I was in the middle of a huge restore of an NT client from an NT V3.1 server
when a read error on the DLT tape was encountered. (The actual error
message said to clean the tape drive.) At this point the whole restore job
was cancelled, leaving me no other chocie but to start the job over.
Shouldn't ADSM have the smarts to skip to the next tape and report back the
files it could not restore?
