The options file looks fine.
Just for kicks...I would try the backup with COMPRESSION NO.
And also, if the backup is going directly to tape (if you
can't determine this, contact your ADSM Admin.) then make
sure the tape is getting mounted within a reasonable amount of time.
If it still fails, then you need to open a problem with IBM
support to get this into normal "debug" mode.
This FORUM is not the place for that.
