I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, but it sounds like either
DRM PREPARE, or the SERVER to SERVER stuff.

The DRM PREPARE command is available as part of DRM on V2 or V3.

If you run the DRM PREPARE command, it generates a script of the commands
you would enter on your DR1 server if you had to go to your recovery site
and get ADSM working after your primary site was destroyed. (Requires that
you have your COPY pools, DB backup, and the script at the offsite
location.....)

Look in the ADMIN ref for the PREPARE command, its very simple and does cool
stuff. Described in the DRM chapter in the ADMIN guide.

In V3 there is also the SERVER TO SERVER feature, that lets you send all
your data across a network to a second server. But that implies you have
the live server running at your DR site all the time. I think that is when
you need to define one server as a dev class for the other. Go to
WWW.REDBOOKS.IBM.COM and search on ADSM. There is a redbook on setting up
SERVER TO SERVER.

Hope this helps.
