Let me ask a question: Why not using a ADSM client for OpenVMS directly ?

There is one available: ABC (Archive Backup Client V1.2 BL3)
(Works with ADSM V2.x and V3.x)

Developed by formerly Digital Storage Mangement Engineering folks which
have formed their own company called: SSSI (Storage Solutions Specialists Inc.)
