Generally, the best place to find out this type of info is on
IBMLINK, which you can get to at:

http://www.ibmlink.ibm.com

This type of information is in the SALESMANUAL, which is under
INFOLINK.

I checked it out, and it looks like the B01 will only hold 2 tape
drives.  You can upgrade to B02 (with 3 or 4 drives, more slots), or
to the B03 which has 4 drives and even more slots.

According to IBM, you can also request a price (RPQ) to upgrade to
one of the Cxx models as well.
