No, it is not possible. If you are referring to the DSG30*.DLL file in the
SACLIENT, that is just language-specific resources for the Admin GUI.
I have worked for IBM on this product for 2.5 years now, and before that I used
it for another 2.5 years as a customer. Please believe me when I tell you that
no Admin API exists.

Is there no work around to make it possible...?
Does nobody know what is in the DLL provided in the SACLIENT directory ?

Hello Johan,
The API is a backup-archive client API. The ability to connect as an
administrator does not exist.

Hi ADSMmers,
Is there anyone who managed to connect as administrator to the ADSM server
using an API instruction.
It seems to be that only clients could connect using the dsmInit API call.
I want to open an administrative session using API's.
