Hi,
I must admit that occasionally we do face this problem of TCP/IP
connection failure but that does not cause a failure of our backups. I
cannot eliminate the cause but can suggest a cure for the symptom

Generally .pst files that are having an open status (being used). But we
have been able to backup .pst files larger than 300Mb in size

Besides our combined drive capacity on the node is around 24Gb. So there
should not be any cause for you to be apprehensive of the size of the
drive.

The best we could do was to request the users to cut down on the size of
these files and then to keep the outlook closed during the backup
intervals.

Alternatively you can increase the number of retries.

regards

Gogineni
