Usually when I see this type of problem, it is a problem in the local file
system.

Note in your dsmsched.log, ADSM took 32 minutes between the unsuccessful
send of the .pst file and the timeout.

Usually, this means the adsm client is stuck noodling around in the file
system and not sending data.
Eventually the server times out the connection, and you see the -50 TCP/IP
error return code on the client end.

If you have disk errors/bad sectors, all the retries trying to read can
consume a lot of time.
I would first run SCANDISK on that drive and see if it can clean anything
up.

If that doesn't help, I wouild try running an incremental on that drive from
the GUI interface, possibly one subdirectory at a time.
Usually that way you can tell exactly where the backup gets stuck.
