HPUX Funny Filesystems
1998-07-28 16:40:48
I have just inherited a bunch of HPUX boxes that use the old "general"
filesystem method (you add the disk, HPUX handles the space) which acts
differently from the standard journaled filesystems on newer HPUX and
AIX. Where previously I assigned the domain with filesystem names, now
my only "filsystem-like" options are the root of the disk (which is the
only thing that ADSM is seeing as a filesystem). This makes for a very
complex include/exclude list. I've tried the includedir and excludedir
options and it complains that it doesn't know these.
Anyone working with these pre-jfs filesystems?
Thanks in advance,
