And Jerry reminded me of another point...
     Unless you completely clear the pool with a migration, you end up with
     it being eaten up by TONS of small files.  A migration can clear 1
     single 2 GB file really fast but when you end up with 2 million 1 KB
     files the data base overhead to migrate those will take a real long
     time...
