Hello,
we use ADSM version 3.1.1.3 for AIX with a STK Nearline 4400 silo with
ACSLS. At the moment we have an interface which uses the mount messages
from dsmadmc mount command an sends the requests to ACSLS. The interface
was written bei Gary Grider. The silo is defined as a munal library. At
the moment we have about 1500 3490 cartridges in use.

Now I would like to use the ACSLS interface which is provided with ADSM
itself. There are some remarks in the README about converting from the
enhanced ADSM server to the new ACSLS interface. Especially, it mentions
the possibility to change the type of the library from manual to ACSLS by
the update command. But it also mentions that this is possible only for
converting from the enhanced server. Does this also apply to my case? Is it
possible to change it back to manual if the interface doesn't work?
Thanks in advance for help!
Gerhard
