An ADSM server system would typically have a reasonable amount of
unused, fast disk space available.  In a case like this I would
consider creating a temporary file system on the server, perform
the restoral on the server using shared memory for optimal speed,
and then use NFS or comparable to export the file system to the
slow client for a la carte access to files as needed there.
