Yes, the central scheduler should work. You should do a QUERY EVENT on the
server side to check the status. Is it starting, failing, or being missed
altogehter? Also, check DSMSCHED.LOG and DSMERROR.LOG as these may shed some
light as to why the scheduled event is not running.

I have an NT Server that is running Version 3,1,0.3 of the ADSM client
software that isn't being automatically backed up to an 2,1,0.13
MVS server.  As far as I can tell the service is correctly configured and
is running on the NT server.  Before I go back and use dsmcutil to
re-configure the central scheduler service, is it even possible for an
2,1,0.13 server to backup an 3,1,0.3 via central scheduling?
