We use an ADSM server on AIX and it is version 2.x
The Client on the Netware Server is "Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.3 E3"
In the dsm.opt file are these statement for the NDS backup defined.

DOMAIN  DIRECTORY
EXCLUDE DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XS.OU=ES./.../*
EXCLUDE DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XW.OU=BE./.../*

Because there are inherited right masks defined on these containers.

The dsmsched.log shows this results:

The ADSM client tries to backup each object underneath the exclude
statements which costs a lot of time

Does anybody know how to define the exclude statements for branches of the
NDS? I've also tried with the same result
EXCLUDE                   DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XS.OU=ES/.../*
EXCLUDE                   DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XW.OU=BE/.../*
or
EXCLUDE                   DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XS.OU=ES/../*
EXCLUDE                   DIRECTORY:/O=IMS-INT.OU=XW.OU=BE/../*
