Here's the scenario:
I have a server at corporate HQ called NDS01. It is the central point from
which I
backup my NDS tree. It has READ-ONLY copies of all local partitions and
SUBORDIANTE
REFERENCES to other child partitions located throughout the WAN. According the
the ADSM
logs, it appears that I am successfully backing all objects in the tree.
  1) Is it correct that at backup time a SUBORDINATE REFERENCE will pull the
object from
one of the offsite MASTER, READ/WRITE, or READ ONLY servers to back it up?
  2) Should one of these offsite locations have a total meltdown, and loose all
the
servers in thier replica ring, can I restore their NDS data even though my
local server
only has a SUBORDINATE REFERENCE to their partition?
  3) How do I tell if my NDS schema is successfully being backed up?
