I've run into a strange problem.

Labelling and checking in volumes in our 3494 has always worked fine.
Today I inserted 3 new volumes and labelled them OK.

Howewer, the checkin libvolume process hangs.

I've tried to restart the server, restart the libmgr, but nothing helps..

The 3494 and the library-manager works fine. Other processes like
migration, db-backup etc work fine.

I tried to cancel the checkin-process, but it will not die.

The three tapes are

checkin-command is

checkin libvol 3494 status=scratch search=yes devt=3590

oslevel is 4.2.0.0,
adsm is 2.1.5.18.


Has anyone had checkin-problems like this before?
