Hi,
What kind of backups, client to server, primary storage pool to copy
storage pool, or dabatase backup?

We have a series of scripts that launch and check the latter two cases.
As for the first case, we use a script which runs dsmadmc command "q
filespace" and checks to see if each filespace has 1) completed a backup and
2) completed on within the last 2 days.

We've built quite a system around ADSM, so we can used untrained operators
for day-to-day tape operations and registration.
