Hello Tony-
You need a RESTORE VOLUME nnnnnn COPYPOOL=copypool. You can add
PREVIEW=YES to see what offsite tapes you will need.

Hi ADSMer's
I am currently running ADSM V2.1.5.12 on a AIX SP Node, with (4) IBM
3590 Tape Drives, used as separate Libraries and Stgpools.
Today one of my drives went bad, and I had a IBM SE come out and check
it out. Well while he was doing this he over wrote on of my on site
tape stgpool volumes. What I need help with is, if this tape happens to
have been backed up to an off-site copypool how can I recover or even
verify if the data is backed up to a offsite copypool, since I will not
be able to restore from the onsite tape stgpool volume. I've checked
the manuals but so far have not found any way I can recover this data or
even see if it is stored on a offsite copypool.
I have tried the "Q CONTENT with TYPE=ANY, and all that shown is TYPE is
equal to BKUP, and if there is no copypool then it looks like I will not
be able to issue the "RESTORE VOLUME"...So any help would be
appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
