I'm having the same problem on ADSM server V3.1.0 on MVS. I'm backing up an
AIX V3.1.3 client. It did a backup up (7.3gig), a second client starts a
session, backs up 300mg, then they both go into a RUN state with no more
activity. I canceled each sesssion. The activity log shows a cancel, but
the sessions don't go away. The ADSM server accepts commands, attempts to
begin client sessions, but none will backup. Eventually I receive a max
client session message for additional sessions. I must then shut down the
ADSM server and restart to clear up the condition.
