We have ours set up to fail over.  Basically, our tape drives & disk are
connected to both RS6000s but are only online to one.  If the RS6000
with ADSM fails, the volume groups get varied on the other system.  I
think we have to manually switch the tape drives (it's been a while
since we tested it).  The HA scripts then start the server.  All clients
point to the IP address that also fails over to the other RS6000, so
they don't see a difference.

I didn't do the HA work, but it seemed pretty simple and didn't need
anything special.
