We were having trouble on WinFrame with applications running slower than
expected.
We had to change the performance settings:

We changed setting in Control panel -> Network -> Server Maximize Throughput
for Network Applications. The default was Maximize Throughput for File
Sharing.

This might affect the backup, don't know.
