yes i did. and that was in my original message.

i also found out, tho' later, was that i wasn't able to connect to server
as an operator, it complained something like "not enough authority to
use sharedmem region". but if i issue "dsmadmc" as root all went well.
interesting. ideas? is this operating system or adsm?

i'm going back to tcpip. maybe it's not efficient for the machine to back
itself up, but it works. we have a report script kick off every morning
which i don't want it to run as root.
