I've just put online my new 7337 DLT library (with 2 DLT 7000s). AIX sees
the drives (as does ADSM), and lists the block size as 1024. This seems
sort of small to me (the manual for the 7337 indicates that a larger block
size will improve performance) - is there a "magic" block size for DLT
7000s? If not, how can I determine what number I should be using?

On a related note, when I did
        label libvolume autodltlib search=yes labelsource=barcode
checkin=scratch

to get the new tapes checked in, the library only used one drive at a time
(though it alternated between the drives). Is this normal? I'd've thought
a more efficient use would be to use both drives simultaneously...

Thanks.
