Hi Rainer
     There is a bug in the client v3.1.03 for AIX 
     IBM support tell me that this client sends  IP address 0.0.0.0 instead 
     of its real IP address . So the server is not able to contact it and 
     force schemode to polled ( APAR IX76779)

Hi out there,
     
I´m running ADSM for AIX V3.1.02 on a RS/6000 F50 under AIX 4.2. 
     
Yesterday I upgraded the ADSM client for AIX 4.1.5 from V3.1.10.0 to 
3.1.10.3 (newest version from Intenet) and discovered that the new 
client version doesn´t no longer accept PROMPTED as schedule mode, only 
POLLING is accepted.I have set the parameter > SCHEDMODE PROMPTED < 
within the AIX cleints dsm.sys. I get the message "polling method will 
be used if server currently supports it".
     
I have set PROMPTED (from ANY) at the server to force PROMPTED but there 
was no change. Intentionally I have written PROMPDED at the AIX clients 
dsm.sys which was noticed at client startup as an invalid value, so the 
client seems to check for corect values of SCHEDMODE but doesn´t accept 
only POLLING.
     
Can anyone help? Or is there anyone having the same experiences? Any 
reply would be welcome.
