Our ADSM backup of our lotus notes server took over 24 Hours before the
connect agent was installed and it has now been reduced to only 3 hours.
The only side effect was that our database grew about 1GB in size since
each document is now an entry in the ADSM database.    We schedule 1 full
backup on the weekend and incrementals during weekdays.

We have some highly utilized Lotus Notes Mail servers on Win NT that are
taking 12-19 hours to backup every day with the regular ADSM backup client.
I'm considering the Connect agent.  I noticed the doc says if you have alot
of changes, the b/a client is faster, if you don't, the Connect agent is
faster.   Of course, the mail servers are highly utilized, MANY changes.
Please let me know if you are using the Connect Agent on large Lotus Notes
Mail databases with positive results as compared to the b/a client.  If you
had negative results and went back to just the b/a client, please let me
know that too.. thanks!
