Thanks for the background info, Brett.  I understand the performance
implications of pre-selecting just local drives.  Maybe once a user has
clicked on the entire machine, before the backup begins, a warning could be
issued:  You are about to backup NETWORK filespaces.  Press CANCEL to
return to the selection menu to select just the local hard drives.
