The monitoring you are looking for is available thru the activity log.
Command line q actlog;gui
open the server then select activity log.
ie to display message for 1 previous day is : q actlog begind=today-1
default is 1 hour
to search for a string q actlog begind=today -3 se='ANE' gives vital stats
