Alex,

HACMP (High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing) has no direct
relation to ADSM.  HACMP was developed by CLAM and Associates out of
Cambridge.  It is designed to run on AIX.   As far as I know it is now
jointly owned by IBM and CLAM, with CLAM providing the development level
support for the product.  HACMP can be configured to provide backup of
components which may fail, from network adapters to entire RS/6000
systems.  I hope this helps.
