Hi Alex,
I can't remember any more what HACMP really stands for (high
availability .....). Basically it is clustering technology. From an ADSM
point of view, you can have an ADSM server installed on multiple AIX
boxes, and if the box that is running the active copy of ADSM dies, ADSM
will automatically get started on another box. This is the theory
anyway. I haven't actually used it.
