Indeed, I recently had a tape which was unreadable, rife with I/O
errors. I simply entered the command 'Restore Volume...', and
voila, data back. This is a delightful capability, much like
entering the fictional command 'fix problem'. Exploiting ADSM
facilities means you are "covered" - life is made much easier
for you as an administrator.
