Hello,

we use ADSM server MVS 3.1 and Netware clients 3.1


We also get these timeouts, not for large files but for special files
(for instance: archive files for Outlook, xxxx.pst).

Problem:  after timeout, the server cuts the connection and then tries
to reconnect. But the same file will be backed-up and will give anopther
timeout!!

Proposition: -could ADSM skip the file after x timeouts? It would allow
the backup to complete with the exception of the specific file.

What does the IBM development think about this?
