TCP-IP timeouts on Netware

Subject: TCP-IP timeouts on Netware

I have a netware client that gets tcp-ip errors
(errors #40 and #52) while backing up large files,
and the backup never completes.

Has anyone else seen this error? I seem to remember
a discussion here about a problem with tcp-ip version
incompatibility some time ago?

Can anyone enighten me?  Thanks, in advance.
