Compaq (HP) Tape library system

Subject: Compaq (HP) Tape library system

I have a compaq  2 drive library system that I am testing with ADSM v3 on
NT 4.0
The adsmscsi recognizes the 2 drives fine as Quantum DLT7000 CPQ LDRV1838,
 but
the Library device comes up as HP C5173-7000 4.01 , yet no lb number is
associated.     This is really an HP device  with a compaq shell, does
anyone
know how to get the library to register.
