Netware - BIN volumes

Subject: Netware - BIN volumes

Does anybody know of a solution of being able to back up a NetWare volume that 
is named BIN?  I've tried both the v2 & v3 of the client and both think that 
"bin" means "bindery" and will not backup this volume.  If anybody can...HELP!
Bye the way, renaming the volumes isn't a good option at this time.
