I had ADSM backup its database using the command BACKUP DB ..... and
scheduled it using cron. That worked fine for quite some time. I
resently had to restore the ADSM database and I did a DELETE VOLH
TODAY=-20 TYPE=DBB..... Since that time the ADSM DB Backup hangs each
time it starts. When I issue a Q PROCESS, I see the process starting but
it indicates that it's waiting for a SCRATCH volume to be mounted, of
which there are plenty. All other activity including mounts to other
devices are also hung. If I issue and CANCEL PROCESS, I get a CANCEL
PENDING which also hangs. I have to bring down ADSM and start it again
in order that other function run normally.

ADSM server 2.1.0.11

Anybody seen this problem ???
