Admin schedules

I defined an admin schedule that execcutes a 'BACKUP DB...'. It has been
working fine for some time.
Since several days back it has stopped running. The ACTLOG shows nothing (good
or bad) at that time this schedule should start...
All paremeters of the schedule look good. Any ideas where to look? THis has got
to be something simple??
