Some examples of the mtlib command follow:
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qL
display status of the automated library
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qI
display an inventory list of volumes in the library
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -m -f /dev/rmt1 -V 950000
mounts tape 950000 in rmt1
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -d -f /dev/rmt1
dismounts tape in rmt1
A list of mtlib commands may be found in "IBM SCSI Tape Drive, Medium

Hello,
can somebody explain me how to use
mtlib command with option -L ?
mtlib description of option L says:
-L[list] List of Volume serial numbers
but I do not succeed in specifying a file with
but I do not succeed in specifying a file with
a list of VolSers.
Example:
mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qV -L/tmp/l
gives error:
mtlib: Volume serial number required (-V)
